One of the questions I’m most often asked is: Where do you find background music for your videos? Here are five places you can find some great music at an affordable price.
If I had to name one question that I get asked on a regular basis— one of the first to come to my mind would be, where do you get the background music that you use in your videos. First of all, there are a lot of great places to get stock music, and a quick google search will show you, they aren’t cheap! Here are some places I always look and what it’ll cost you!
You may have heard of this one, but if you haven’t, check them out! My favorite things about this choice are a nice flat rate of $49 for a standard license and a short, medium and long version of your song choice.
If you’re used to the hefty price tag that comes with the songs you would download from places like the music bed, you’re going to love this! Songs start at just $14.99 and you can even license mainstream songs that you’re already familiar with. This is a great place to look for a one time project that has a tight budget!
This is a great place to look for not only songs but stingers and sound effects. This is another popular choice with songs that start at around $20 per song.
Now let’s look at a couple of stock music membership sites. These are great if you use music for projects all throughout the year and you can save a lot of money by having a membership to one of these sites!
Art list is still in beta but has a wide selection of inspiring and cinematic soundtracks for a flat price of $199 per year. If you’ve been using stock music long at all, you’ll love their site and the music that they have to offer!
